This blog was started in a journalism class for school. While that course may be coming to an end, this blog is not. However, things may be a little bit different when I got back.
In my class majority of people were blogging about sports. I picked female sports as my beat since I am a girl, and I did not want my blog to look the same as everyone else’s.
I learned a lot throughout this semester, and this was honestly more challenging than I thought it would be. Having such a limited topic, it was hard to find stories or people by deadlines to fulfill all of the requirements.
Even though I got it all done, there were times where I wasn’t always happy with the end result. On the other hand, there were times where I had to completely just throw something together and ended up loving it. For example, my piece on community college sports came out ten-times better than I expected.
When I get back I will absolutely keep up with female sports and Rowan University sports news, but I need the freedom to also talk about anything going on in the sports industry. College, professional, female, male… you get the just.
While I am gone, here are some of my favorite posts throughout the semester to keep you busy, but I promise, I will not be gone for too long.
