Rowan’s Club Volleyball on their Nationals Experience – Video Project

After months of fundraising, Rowan’s Club Volleyball team made their dreams of attending Nationals in Denver Colorado a reality.

The Division II team of girls came in first place in their last home tournament at Rowan, and ended their season with a five-hour drive to Providence, Rhode Island. Here, they claimed a 2nd place title and secured the chance to attend Nationals – which made the long drive completely worth it .

The team has spent a lot of time building, and creating a stronger program over the last couple of years. Clearly, all of their efforts are paying off. After a very successful season, this Nationals experience is a first for Rowan Club Volleyball.

In Denver, 48 of the best Division II teams from all across the country showed up to prove their worth. The girls admit that while it was an extremely competitive environment, it was the best experience of their lives.

These Lady Prof’s may have only won 2 out of their eight games before coming home, however, after tying for 41st place along with eight other teams, they are feeling more gratitude rather than disappointment.

Teammates spoke out on how this was a learning experience and they are left with motivation to continue growing, and come back in 2020 with a chance to redeem themselves.

It can only go up from here.
